This month I've been obsessing over three items of clothing in my wardrobe. The first is this navy blue pleated skirt that I found in a charity shop about a year ago. It went into my wardrobe and I hadn't worn it at all until last week when I rediscovered it. It looks great with a cropped top or with a tucked in shirt for a more Victorian look. Here I'm wearing it with a pastel mint green belt (Charity shop), white lace socks (Primark), brown brogues (Vintage store) and a pastel chunky necklace (Forever 21).
The second item is this pair of hot pink tailored trousers from H&M. These are perfect for day and night. With this navy vest top (Primark), bike chain necklace (Oasis) and black studded heels (New Look, also referenced in my last wardrobe post!) it's perfect for day time and then when the evening comes I can change the vest for a sequinned black top, let my hair down and I'm ready to party!
The last piece is this floral maxi dress. I've had this dress for a few years now and I grow to love it even more every summer. There's something very Jane Austin about the tiny blue and orange floral print and the aged cream colour of the dress. Here I'm wearing it with a bone necklace that my uncle bought me in Africa and a pair of antique rose sling-backs.

The real "gist" of the Liebster Award is that there is no real award. There are no judges, no special rules. No website with an official team to congratulate you and hold your hand. It's mostly what you want it to be. If you receive the award, you can 1) accept it and 2) pass it along. If you would like you can probably find some sort of badge on google images! Hope that helps :) xx
